Growborough

Growborough is a Peterborough not for profit organisation set up in November 2010, raising the profile and encouraging the regeneration of Peterborough by recommending and attracting new businesses to the Peterborough area.  Created by local Peterborough residents and businesses who have an interest in the City, Growborough is dedicated to encouraging the regeneration and development of Peterborough.  We want to see the empty buildings full, our unemployment levels well below national avaeridges and inspire/aspire local people to have pride in our City and see regeneration for Peterborough happen.

Growborough recognize that economic input and investment alone are insufficient for the future of Peterborough; community involvement and social ownership are essential for sustainable growth and development of the area.  The areas of assimilation within Peterborough need to be championed and maintained; furthermore the areas of discard should be regenerated through community involvement and economic support.  The people of Peterborough want long term positive change and Growborough provides a forum to create conversation about issues that affect our city.  It is now time for tangible activity, change and development for Peterborough so we can celebrate our fantastic city!
